Hi! We are Brenden and Ally - the husband and wife duo behind Figtree Pictures.
Based on the Gold Coast, we’re a super fun team of wedding pros that live to create naturally beautiful and joyful imagery.
Our style is modern and vibrant, while still honouring timeless techniques and the art of storytelling.
Our close-knit crew of photographers and videographers have been capturing weddings and elopements across Australia since 2011. We are industry-respected with a solid reputation, so you can trust us to deliver an incredible experience for you.
We are a Gold Coast wedding photography and videography studio, and mainly shoot weddings on the Gold Coast, Tweed Coast, Byron Bay, Brisbane, Scenic Rim, Sunshine Coast and Northern NSW (but we’re open to travel when we can!).
We thrive on capturing all of the candid moments and emotions from your day naturally as it unfolds - the secret smiles, the happy tears, the group hugs, the dreamy styling details and all of the epic memories you’ll want to relive time and time again.
Most importantly, we want you to have the best day ever! Our team is professional and efficient, but our approach is relaxed, light-hearted and fun. We’ll provide direction as needed, but also share lots of laughs with you, put any nervous jitters at ease and do our best to blend in. A lot of the time you won’t even know we’re there. We’ll limit our focus on posed and staged photos, and concentrate on the real moments that make your day what it is.

How we work
We have a dedicated studio team and a finely-tuned process to support and guide you in the lead-up to your day.
Here’s what you can expect from working with Team Figtree:

Step 1 - Get in touch
First, reach out to us via our contact form. We want to hear all about your day and how we can be a part of it! We’ll confirm our availability and send you some more info about us and what we offer.

Step 2 - Book it in!
When you’re ready to book us in, we’ll secure your date and collect all of the basics we need to get started. Our team is always here to answer any questions and provide helpful planning tips and advice.

Step 3 - Big Day Prep
Around 6-8 weeks before the big day, we’ll reach out to get the ball rolling on planning your wedding. We’ll also arrange a catch up with your photographer to run through everything and to say hi.

Step 4 - Wedding Day
Next, the wedding day happens! We’ll weave ourselves effortlessly behind the scenes, capturing all of the loved-up, feel-good moments.

Step 5 - Wedding Pics!
We know you’re dying to see your photos, so we’ll send you some sneak peek images the week after the wedding. Then, you’ll receive your full gallery 6-8 weeks after the day.
