Yes! We have a small team of super talented and experienced wedding photographers and videographers. The team has slowly grown since 2011 as the demand for our style of work has increased. Currently we have 5 photographers who all shoot in a style which is true to our Figtree aesthetic. We have also recently added 3 videographers to our team whose styles perfectly complement our wedding photography.

Our style is natural and focused on capturing all the joyful and candid moments of your day! We shoot in a documentary style, capturing all of the details in a way that tells your wedding story as it naturally unfolds. We limit our focus on posing and staging images, and concentrate on the real moments that make your day what it is.

We keep our imagery looking as natural as possible so it’s a true reflection of how the day was.

We only offer videography in conjunction with our photography packages.

Unfortunately RAW (unedited) footage is not available, however we do offer the option to purchase the ceremony and/or speeches footage for an additional fee.

The ceremony footage we offer as an add on is a 10-30 minute video of your ceremony. This can be purchased prior to the wedding as an additional video to your videography package. A stationary camera is generally positioned at the back of the aisle, and edited with any other footage captured by our videographer. This is raw (unedited) footage.

The speeches footage we offer as an add on is a 20-40 minute video including all your speeches recorded from your wedding. This can be purchased prior to the wedding as an additional video to your videography package. All speeches will be filmed from start to finish, and edited into 1 video. The duration depends on the duration of your speeches formalities. This is raw (unedited) footage.

Generally we’ll choose the music for you.

We care deeply about the films we produce and we use a range of tracks from our library of copyright free music. We’ll use our creative direction to produce a film that reflects your day and pair this with carefully selected music that is also fully licensed for sharing.

Yes! We love using second photographers to capture both partner's preparations, various angles, and a different perspective on the day. A second photographer is especially great for a larger wedding party wedding. Read more about the advantages of a second wedding photographer here.

We don’t like to state an exact amount in our package inclusions, as each wedding is unique and there are so many different factors that affect the final number (size of a wedding party, how many guests you have, number of desired family photos, length of time we have for location photos, to name a few!).

However, we generally find that we end up with approximately 700 photos for a full day package with 2 photographers, and approximately 400 photos for a half day package with 2 photographers.

You sure do! We deliver a selection of sneak peek wedding photographs a week after your wedding day, so you you’ve got something to view and share straight away!

We’re a Gold Coast wedding photography studio. Most of our weddings are shot locally around Byron Bay, Tweed Coast, Gold Coast and Brisbane; however we also shoot further north around the Sunshine Coast and take on a limited number of destination weddings each year as well.
