Their seamless organisation and communication about our photography set my mind at ease and I knew we were going to get amazing photos from the beginning. Tell us a little about your day…
After initially investigating elopement options in Spain and Italy, we made the decision to celebrate our marriage closer to home at one of our favourite locations in Byron Bay, Rae’s on Wategos. From the beginning, we knew we wanted to keep our numbers small and have a family style meal with our nearest and dearest, keeping our numbers to just 25 people on the day. We opted to skip many of the wedding day traditions and instead focused on friends, family and making sure everyone had a good time.

What was your fave part or moment from your day?
After spending the previous night and morning of the wedding apart, my favourite part of the day was when i saw David waiting for me at the end of the aisle. There are so many emotions and excitement on your wedding day and all you want to do is share every moment with your partner.

Do you have any words of wisdom or tips for future couples?
Take breaks from wedding planning every now and then. There can be a never ending to-do list for months in the lead-up and you don’t want to have ‘wedding fatigue’ by the time your big day comes around.

Tell us a little about your day…
We love the wine country, so for us we wanted a wedding in a wine region that combined rustic elegance with nature. We chose Gum Gully Farm in the Yarra Valley as it encapsulated everything we wanted for our big day from the deep beautiful greens to the golden fields for our photographs. It also had deer on the property and what bride doesn’t want deer in their photos?!

What was your fave part or moment from your day?
We had family and friends from all over the world come and share in our special day. Having everyone you love in the same place only happens once in your lifetime and we were so grateful to have those we love dearest all in the same place for one night.

Do you have any words of wisdom or tips for future couples?
Trust your vendors and let them be your sounding board for all of your ideas, questions and concerns. Their entire living depends on making memories for others so trust their instincts and you won’t be led astray.

Tell us a little about your day…
Our wedding day was a dream, I wish we could do it all over again, we wouldn’t change a thing. We were surrounded by our close family and friends, they definitely know how to party. It was so much fun! Walking down the isle to the love of my life was a feeling I can’t describe. I am excited to relive our day through our photos.

What was your fave part or moment from your day?
When the doors opened to the chapel and I could see Trevor standing at the end waiting for me. I have never felt so excited and happy to know I was about to marry my best friend and love of my life. Then spending some time having a picnic with only the 2 of us under the fig tree.

Do you have any words of wisdom or tips for future couples?
Take time to yourselves even if it’s only short, it was definitely worth it.
