“Jake and I opted to have an engagement shoot before our wedding, where we had Alice take our pictures. We got them back within a few days and we absolutely blown away by how they turned out. So leading into the wedding we had no doubt in our mind that the photos from the wedding were going to be incredible, and of course, they were! Alice is amazing, she made everything effortless and natural, capturing the raw moments of the day. Not only that, she is fun and so lovely! It was so easy to chat and get along with her.” – Shannon + Jake

Tell us a little about your day…
Wow! We knew getting married was going to be amazing, but we didn’t know exactly how amazing the feeling would be until our day. Although it wasn’t the most amazing weather that every bride dreams of, the weather held out just enough for us to complete our ceremony and photos outside! It was absolutely amazing to feel the amount of love and happiness flowing around the day and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect wedding to share with our loved ones.

What was your fave part or moment from your day?
Our favourite part would have to be the ceremony, saying our vows was such a raw, emotional moment that we will cherish forever.

Do you have any words of wisdom or tips for future couples?
Hire someone to do the planning! We had byron bay weddings plan our day and they were incredible. From the planning phase to the actual day, everything went smoothly and nothing was forgotten. Another biggy for us was picking our photographer carefully (I think we did pretty well!)
