“Figtree have been incredible throughout our wedding journey. Their seamless organisation and communication about our photography set my mind at ease and I knew we were going to get amazing photos from the beginning. Dan was our photographer on the day and was amazing to work with, he was so professional and set everyone at ease. I couldn’t recommend Figtree and Dan more highly.” – Courtney + David

Tell us a little about your day…
After initially investigating elopement options in Spain and Italy, we made the decision to celebrate our marriage closer to home at one of our favourite locations in Byron Bay, Rae’s on Wategos. From the beginning, we knew we wanted to keep our numbers small and have a family style meal with our nearest and dearest, keeping our numbers to just 25 people on the day. We opted to skip many of the wedding day traditions and instead focused on friends, family and making sure everyone had a good time.
What was your fave part or moment from your day?
After spending the previous night and morning of the wedding apart, my favourite part of the day was when i saw David waiting for me at the end of the aisle. There are so many emotions and excitement on your wedding day and all you want to do is share every moment with your partner.
Do you have any words of wisdom or tips for future couples?
Take breaks from wedding planning every now and then. There can be a never ending to-do list for months in the lead-up and you don’t want to have ‘wedding fatigue’ by the time your big day comes around.
